ABOUT US
CAMBA PEAK is led by Beth Gordon, a Chartered Accountant and MBA with over thirty years experience as a commercial finance and strategy executive in international resources, infrastructure and professional services.
Beth started her financial career as an auditor and chartered accountant with KPMG in Perth, Australia and San Antonio, Texas, later working in London during the post-"Big Bang" days as a contractor. Her subsequent move to Sydney began an adventure-filled career working at corporate offices, projects and operations around the world in the resources industry.
She has worked across the whole value chain - from exploration and development at Sino Gold's Jinfeng project in China, operations at Thiess' Mt Owen mine in the Hunter Valley, processing at PT Inco's nickel smelter in Indonesia and global strategy with Inco's corporate headquarters in Toronto.
Along the way, Beth completed a full-time MBA at the Melbourne Business School and a Master of Science in Mineral Economics degree at Curtin University (WA School of Mines).
She now specialises in providing commercial and financial consulting to front-line operational and project teams.
Due to Beth’s diverse experience working across diverse disciplines and cultures and with strong stakeholder management skills, her approach to problem-solving is:
